The convocation ceremony of the Higher National Diploma holders of the 2017 batch has been scheduled to be held on April 20th, 2022.

Students who have completed the course successfully by February 28, 2022, are eligible for the convocation. Successful completion of the course includes the completion of all the examinations and six months of on-the-job training.

It has been decided recently by the university colleges and the university of vocational technology not to send students who have not completed academic studies, including on-the-job training.

On the job training of the students of the 2017 batch is scheduled to be held from December 1st, 2021 to May 22nd, 2022. As per the approved calendar of the Board of Studies, 2017 batch students have to complete on-the-job training by May 22nd, 2022, and afterwards they will have to face a viva voce conducted by the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA).

Consequently, 2017 batch students are not eligible for the convocation of the Higher National Diploma as they have not yet completed on-the-job training and the students of the 2015 and 2016 batches who have completed all the necessary above-mentioned requirements are eligible for the award ceremony.
