Division of Management Studies has successfully organized “Bataille de Cuisine’21 – Cooking Battle” as an educational event for all the students of Hospitality Management, Travel and Tour Management and Event Management in 2017, 2018 and 2019 batches, on 6th, 7th, and 8th April 2021, as five sessions under five different themes. As cooking teams, students have competed among each other to win the battle and served prepared meals for invited guests. One winner has selected from each session by the members in the judge panel.

Awarding ceremony has successfully conducted to announce the winners and give away the certificates, on 8th April with the participation of Chief Guest, Mr. Susantha Gajadeera, Director/ Chief Executive Officer of University College of Matara, Guest of Honour, Mr. Shanaka Reshan, Director, Food and Beverage, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort and Spa and all the Academic staff members, and Administrative staff members of University College of Matara.
