Procurement Notice

1.       Chairman, Department Procurement Committee (Minor), University College of Matara invites the eligible bidders to bid for the tasks given below.

 

2.      The bidding will be done in accordance with the provisions of National Competitive Bidding Procedures (NCB).

 

3.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Assistant Registrar of the University College of Matara on working days of the week from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Contact Number: 041-2222963/041-2222967

 

4.       A complete set of Bidding documents would be purchased on the submission of a written request to the Director/ Chief Executive Officer from 28.04.2025 until 19.05.2025 on normal working days between 09:00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/= in cash for each item separately.

 

5.       Name of the procurement should be clearly written on the left hand side top corner of the envelop and the bids should be sent to address; Director/ Chief Executive Officer, University College of Matara, No 690, Tangalle Road, Meddawaththa Matara through registered post or can be put in to the tender box which is placed in the Administrative Office of the University College of Matara. The bidding will be closed on 19^th May 2025 at 2.00 p.m.

 

 

6.       Each item is considered as a separate bid and applicants can bid for any number of procurements. However, such bids should be submitted as separate bids.

 

7.       Bids will be opened soon after the closing of bids. For the opening of bids, the bidder or a representative of the bidder (with an authority delegating letter) can be participated.

 

8.       The bidder should submit a Bid Bond by a Bank Guarantee in favor of Chief Executive Officer, University College of Matara, obtained from a licensed Commercial Bank certified by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, along with bidding document as per the values given in the above table.

 

9.       Chairman, Department Procurement Committee (Minor), University College of Matara reserves the right to accept or reject any bid at any of the time.
